“This was an absolutely amazing excursion and a must-do even if you don't know much about wine! Firstly, Joao was a fantastic guide. We stayed in Albufeira and was picked up in perfect timing right from our hotel. He was a local so was plenty knowledgeable about the area and super funny! On the way to the winery, we had a few stops at various sights. Joao was well versed in both the history of Portugal and the elements of wine-making - he welcomed questions! Then, there was the winery. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Amazing for taking photos. The wine was great of course and they explain the entire winemaking process…”
