Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Algarve. The only thing I would note is to eat a big lunch before going as it’s just nibbles with your wine tasting. Take water as you’ll be in the sun a bit too. Overall, a fab day and would recommend!”

On the way to the winery, we had a few stops at various sights. Joao was well versed in both the history of Portugal and the elements of wine-making - he welcomed questions! Then, there was the winery. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Amazing for taking photos. The wine was great of course and they explain the entire winemaking process…”
